Spread some love. Tomorrow is Giving Tuesday! #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, this year falling on November 29. The goal is to inspire people to take collaborative action to improve their local communities and to give back in better, smarter ways to causes they support.
If you’ve ever thought about donating to GTM Research Reserve, now is the time to do so! We are still accepting donations in support of the repairs needed on the Middle Beach Access Boardwalk and the South Beach Access Boardwalk.
Hurricane Matthew caused severe damage to these structures. With your help, we can fix these areas and re-open them to the public as soon as possible. Click here to donate!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, we at GTM Research Reserve want to thank ALL those who donated their time and money after the hurricane in support of their favorite reserve. We were able to clear the Orange trail as well as some of the beach debris.

If you want to participate in Giving Tuesday this year, GTM Research Reserve is holding an oyster shell bagging event tomorrow from 9am-1pm. Meet at the Shell Bank (GTM NERR Middle Beach Parking Lot). Water and gloves will be provided. Please come prepared to have fun, get dirty and contribute to oyster restoration. Closed toe shoes recommended, as well as a water bottle! This is an open event so come and bag oyster shell as much or as little as you wish!
