Conduct Your Research Here!
National Estuarine Research Reserves are designed to promote research by scientists from both within and outside the System.
We welcome volunteers, interns, students, and other researchers to participate in our research and monitoring programs or to carry out independent projects. There are many opportunities for research at the GTM Research Reserve! To safely accommodate the existing, and growing, population of visiting investigators, we require investigators to submit a registration form, which will serve as a permit to conduct research at the Reserve.
Those interested in conducting research at the GTM Research Reserve are encouraged to complete the registration form at least one month prior to visiting the Reserve.
Contact our Research Director, Nikki Dix, with any questions.
