An interpretive guide will tell you about old Florida\u2019s moss-laden trees, seasonal flowering shrubs, and Native American lore, including how they used various plants for food, beverage, and medicine.\u00a0The event is free, but online registration is required.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/secure.lglforms.com\/form_engine\/s\/8CgzghrkEwvmU_OCQQwUfg?t=1736784193\"><strong><u>CLICK HERE TO REGISTER<\/u><\/strong><\/a><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there a parking fee?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are there public restrooms?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Yes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What should I wear?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Wear appropriate clothing for the outdoors. Dressing in layers and preparing for any type of weather is recommended. Closed-toe shoes, not flip-flops, are encouraged.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What should I bring?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A reusable water bottle (that can be filled up onsite), insect repellent (strongly recommended), sunscreen, and binoculars\/cameras are suggested.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Are trails accessible for strollers?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The trails are not paved and have loose sand. Only strollers with big rugged, all-terrain wheels are recommended.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Can I bring my dog?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Family pets\/dogs cannot join the educational hikes, as they may distract participants and disrupt native wildlife.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Is there anything else to see afterward?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Visit the beautiful beach across the street.\u00a0Heading further south, you\u2019ll find Washington Oaks Gardens State Park.
